Who is Vickash Beni?
If you love what you do… every day is like a vacation.
Well, that’s partly true and partly false, as even if you love what you do, the sacrifices your passion requires can be too much at times..but then again if you are in to give your passion all you have..there will be no looking back.
Vickash Beni Kat is living his dream life where he follows his passion, which is Dance.
The 21-year-old dance instructor has been dancing since he was 10 years of age, which technically is more than half of his life. One can only be imaging the intensity of drive and dedication he has for this form of art, that he dedicated most of it to master this skill.
Dance for him is the purest form of expression and is something that gives him Incomparable Joy.
He recalls feeling the most alive when either he is dancing or teaching it. Vickash is a certified dance instructor who has coached many students by now.
He has taught more than 100 students at a go and loves the energy they bring to the room. His Paris workshop where he taught almost 400 students for a week was an amazing success and he plans to do more of those in the future.
Vickash is also one of the very proud participants of the very first World Aids Day Flash mob.
Following his passion hasn’t been a cakewalk for him either but as they say, if you have what it takes, nobody can stop you.
Growing up In a conservative Christian family and his father being a Pastor, it’s not difficult to imagine the difficulty Vickash would have gone through to convince his family to support him. But with big dreams come bigger challenges and as long as you are focused to pursue your passion, you will find a way. And that’’s what he did!
Vickash has immense belief in the young talent and intends to raise more of it by training a maximum number of youth interested to pursue Dance as a profession. He is deeply inspired by Odongkara Emmanuel and finds him innovative and creative something that he consistently imbibed to keep improving.
Vickash is a stern believer of progress, not perfection, and teaches the same to his students. Ten years of dancing and teaching has led him to believe in the power of consistent efforts. If something has the power to fill your soul with joy, there is no reason to not follow it.
He wants to live a successful life where he is constantly raising fresh talents with the help of his learnings and skills. Taking dance to the next level and never settling keeps him aiming higher which leads him to push his limits constantly.
